Hyatt’s anti-hate policy is okay with Hamas linked CAIR event with its speakers who are notorious hate spewing, anti-Semites Ilhan Omar and Linda Sarsour.

The Council on American Islamic Relations’ (CAIR) November 9, 2019 annual fundraiser at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, DC will include America’s most notorious hate spewing, anti-Semites Muslim Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and Linda Sarsour.

Hyatt Hotels banned “hate groups” groups that criticize Islam from using its facilities.  The Las Angeles Times published a report on September 28, 2018 titled “Hyatt hotels won’t rent to hate groups, CEO says; Muslim group claims a victory.”   According to Muslim Advocates, Hyatt’s policy change was directly linked to complaints regarding its rental of convention facilities that month to Act for America.  The LA Times article reports: “Muslim Advocates accuses ACT for America of being a ‘white supremacist-aligned anti-Muslim hate group.’  Muslim Advocates has pressed Hyatt and other hotel companies to refuse to rent to ACT for America.”

Hyatt CEO Mark Hoplamazian said: “If a group is primarily focused on disparaging a group by virtue of their identity … that’s really where we need to draw the line. We’re going to apply our values to making these decisions along the way.”

Mr. Hoplamazian, what about CAIR’s special guests Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s  and Linda Sarsour’s incessant repetition of anti-Semitism?  Mr. Hoplamazian, what about CAIR’s affiliation with Hamas which seeks to annihilate Jews and Israel?

Sadly, Hyatt is not drawing the line against CAIR and its banquet speakers who “disparage a group by virtue of their identity.”

Tragically, it appears that Hyatt’s anti-hate policy is biased against Jews and favors Islamists.   Hyatt appears to deem factual criticism of the Islamist political agenda as “hate” but not so for demeaning, anti-Semitic ranters.

Florida Family Association has prepared an email for you to send to express concern to Hyatt officials about hosting a group that is affiliated with Hamas and has two of the most prominent hate spewing anti-Semites in America as its guest speakers.

This email will open in your email browser because Hyatt and board members are blocking normal form emails sent through the Florida Family Association email server.  If the above link does not open in your email browser or if the email is returned to you please prepare an email using the suggested subject line, content and email addresses provided below. Please feel free to change the wording.

Suggested subject line:

Shocked that Hyatt rents to Hamas anti-Israel terror linked group with its renowned anti-Semitic speakers.

Suggested content:

Hyatt stated in September 2018 that it would no longer rent to organizations that disparage a group by virtue of their identity.   However, the Hyatt policy that permits a Hamas linked group with anti-Semitic speakers to rent its facilities while banning critics of the Islamist political agenda appears very biased.

The Grand Hyatt Washington DC will host Hamas linked CAIR on November 9 2019 with Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and Linda Sarsour who are notorious hate spewing anti-Semites in America.  Sadly, Hyatt is not drawing the line against CAIR and its banquet speakers who “disparage a group by virtue of their identity.”

I will remember how the Hyatt anti-hate policy is biased against Jews and favors Islamists when booking my next hotel reservation or conference.
