Electronic Arts executive apologizes to LGBTs, reports plan to add “Same Gender Romance” (SGR) characters to Star Wars video games.
Will children soon be able to choose a Same Gender Romance character?
The email for this issue was deactivated after EA added same sex characters to their games.

Florida Family Association reported on December 8, 2012 “LGBT activists pressure Star Wars video game maker to commit to add LGBT content and censor critics.” The December 8, 2012 and prior email alerts regarding this issue are posted below.
Jeff Hickman, Executive Producer, Star Wars: The Old Republic reported in early January 2013 at SWOR.com: “I want to apologize that this is taking so long to get in the game. I realize that we promised SGR to you guys and that many of you believed that this would be with a companion character. Unfortunately, this will take a lot more work than we realized at the time and it (like some other pieces of content we talked about earlier in the year) has been delayed as we focused on the changes required to take the game Free-to-Play. As we have said in the past, allowing same gender romance is something we are very supportive of.”
Clearly, it appears that Electronic Arts is caving into LGBT activist demands to add Same Gender Romance characters. Although Disney recently purchased Lucas Films, producer of Star Wars movies, Electronic Arts, Inc. owns the SWOR game and web site.
Adding Same Gender Romance characters to the Star Wars video game will mean:
• Children and teens, who never thought anyway but heterosexual, are now given a choice to select a Same Gender Romance character.
• Children and teens, who choose non-social agenda characters, would be forced to deal with the Same Gender Romance characters chosen by other players.
• Game rules would not allow regular players to prohibit entry into their games by Same Gender Romance characters. That would be discrimination.
Florida Family Association has prepared an email for you to send that urges officials at BioWare’s parent company Electronic Arts and Lucas Films to stop plans to add Same Gender Romance characters to Star Wars video games.

Email alert update - December 8, 2012.
A renewed campaign started on November 30, 2012 to get GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) involved with pressuring Electronic Arts (EA) again to put homosexual content into their game Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR).
Florida Family Association first reported in an email alert on March 5, 2012 that “LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) activists are demanding that the makers of Star Wars video games add LGBT characters for kids to select as their action figure when playing the games.” The full campaign is posted below.
Thousands of Florida Family Association supporters sent emails to Electronic Arts officials urging them not to add LGBT characters and content to Star Wars video games.
A homosexual activist posted a thread at Star Wars The Old Republic SWTOR.com claiming that Electronic Arts officials did not follow through with their commitment to add LBGT characters to the video game. The November 30, 2012 posting stated in part: “Over the months, the LGBT ToR community has tried every polite, respectful and patient way to try to get further information regarding a possible time frame. After the founders of BioWare left as well as Mr. Reid and Mr. Erickson, we've been trying to found out if the content is still coming into the game. We've tried the following: Private Messages to Moderators and Developers on the forum boards; Twitter and Facebook; Email and Snail mail; ‘Ask the Devs’ and other such developer ‘Q&As’ The Livestream cast; with over 25% of the questions related to same gender romance content. With no results.”
Thus far, Electronic Arts has not added LGBT characters to SWTOR. Now these activists are pushing the large homosexual activist organization GLAAD to hammer Electronic Arts.
Emails from Florida Family Association supporters obviously did not fall on deaf ears during the first email campaign. It is important at this time that officials with Electronic Arts hear from the pro-family side again and before GLAAD gets involved.
These LGBT activists want children and young teens to be able to choose Star Wars game characters who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender. This would mean:
• Children and teens, who never thought anyway but heterosexual, are now given a choice to be lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender in their game player.
• Children and teens, who choose non-social agenda characters, would be forced to deal with lesbian, gay, bi-sexual or transgender characters chosen by other players.
• Game rules would not allow regular players to prohibit entry into their games by these social agenda characters. That would be discrimination.

Will the makers of
Star Wars video games
create Darth VaPaula,
a (mock) transgender version
of Darth Vader - RuPaul,
for kids to choose
as their action character?
If you have not sent your email to Electronic Arts and Lucas Films please click here.
These LGBT demands on Star Wars game maker must be opposed. Please forward this article to friends.

LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) activists are demanding that the makers of Star Wars video games add LGBT characters for kids to select as their character when playing the games. Previous email alerts with more information on this issue are posted below.
These LGBT activists want children and young teens to be able to choose Star Wars action characters who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender.
Should BioWare bow to the demands of these LGBT activists by adding such action characters to Star Wars video games they certainly would not create game rules that would allow regular players to prohibit entry into their games by these social agenda characters. That would be discrimination (sarcasm.)
There were no LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) characters in any of the Star Wars movies. So if BioWare, the maker of Star Wars video games, adds LGBT characters for kids to select as their action character it could be something like Darth RuPaula, a combination of Darth Vader, one of the most popular Star Wars characters, and RuPaul, the renown transgender cross dresser.

Florida Family Association sent out an email alert on March 5, 2012 which reported “LGBT (lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender) extremists pressure Star Wars video game maker to commit to add homosexual content and censor critics.” The original email alert is provided below.
These LGBT activists are pummeling Florida Family Association with dozens of emails advocating that homosexuality should be in Star Wars video games. They advocate that teens are old enough to make their own decisions about their sexual preference and declare that our speech should not be protected by the First Amendment. Sample emails from LGBT activists to Florida Family Association are provided at the end of this email alert. These retaliatory emails indicate that these same extremists are hammering BioWare and Electronic Arts officials all the more with emails calling for homosexual content in Star Wars video games.
The email for this issue was deactivated after EA added same sex characters to their games.
ORIGINAL EMAIL ALERT FROM MARCH 5, 2012
During the development of the Star Wars the Old Republic video game LGBT (lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender) activists demanded inclusion of homosexual content. BioWare, the game developer, declined. They stated that their policy is to ensure political neutrality and equality.
This prompted a LGBT organization to contact BioWare with threats of boycotts. BioWare backed down and issued a statement that they will include homosexual content some time in the future.
1.7 million copies of the game have been sold. 35 members of the LGBT community have conducted the latest poll on this topic. 35 players are holding the rest of the world hostage to force this offensive content on a captured audience of hundreds of thousands of children.
The group “Queerty: Free of an agenda. Except a gay one.” “Bioware had initially said Old Republic wouldn’t have a same-sex option, but a strong response from fans led the company to change its mind. Because the game was so close to its 2011 holiday-season release date, gay and lesbian hookups won’t be immediately available.”
LGBT activists anteed up the pressure on February 27, 2012 with the following thread posts at the Star Wars The Old Republic web site Swtor.com
It has come to my attention that the developers of this game aren't taking our questions about same gender romances in SWTOR too seriously. We were promised post launch, and now it looks like it may never happen, because it is SO hush hush, due to the "negativity" other players bring into the conversation.
My thoughts are simple, hit the like button on this Facebook page, and lets show them how many of us DEMAND that we get some information regarding what TRULY amazing Bioware games brought us to Star Wars: The Old Republic.
As quoted by Stephenreid:
“Due to the design constraints of a fully voiced MMO of this scale and size, many choices had to be made as to the launch and post-launch feature set. Same gender romances with companion characters in Star Wars: The Old Republic will be a post-launch feature. Because The Old Republic is an MMO, the game will live on through content expansions which allow us to include content and features that could not be included at launch, including the addition of more companion characters who will have additional romance options.”
Stephen Reid is the Senior Online Community Manager at Bioware.
The pro-homosexual web site Thenewcivilrightsmovement.com mocked Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council by stating: "We visited Bioware’s forums, and were unable to find the 'more than 300 pages of comments–a lot of them expressing anger that their kids will be exposed to this Star Warped way of thinking.'” In fact, the thread we located seemed to have no opposition to the introduction of same-sex relationships and LGBT characters. Could Perkins be making up the opposition?”
The reason the opposing statements noted by Tony Perkins are not posted on the thread is because BioWare banned them. BioWare has taken all means of debate from the opposing side in this matter. Those who have chosen to speak out against this social engineering in a CHILDREN's game have been banned and are no longer allowed to post on BioWare's forums.
The LGBT community continues their efforts harassing the game community and the developers with demands. Here is the latest thread hashing out how they want to implement homosexual content. The second post in the thread shows the result from a poll of which the 35 participated in.
There are many pages in that thread. However, if you skip through and read the posts in yellow text, you will find that BioWare employees state that they have been censoring, deleting, and outright banning forum members for their opposing thoughts on the issue of including homosexual content in the games children play.
American families grew up with the Star Wars film series that was family fair. The films contained no profanity, no nudity and no sexual situations.
It makes no sense that BioWare and Electronic Arts would shatter that family quality in Star Wars video games just to pacify 35 LGBT polling participants and appease radical homosexual extremists.
Star Wars video games are for children. An overwhelming percentage of the 1.7 million games sold are being used by children who do not need to be introduced to this propaganda.
Enough is enough with LGBT activists trying to capture the minds of our children through the intense emotions children encounter when playing video games.

> Dear Florida Family Association.
> I am writing to you concerning you recent e-mail campaign against Bioware about Star Wars:The Old Republic.
> As a concerned person I feel obligated to tell you what I feel is wrong with this campaign. TOR has many thousands of deaths, guns, blood and nudity. All of which I would have thought a prestigious organisation such as yourself would feel inappropriate for young children to be kept away from. And if you were to claim such a point, to some extent I would agree with you (but that is an e-mail for another time).
> However, the route you have decided to agree is same-sex relationships. This is perfectly natural and it is healthy for children of all ages to know this so they can be themselves.
> This is an issue I feel very strongly about and I do not wish to have to resort to simply insulting you endlessly. However, if you continue this stupid campaign, not just against star wars but any kind of single-sex relationships I am afraid I may have to.
> I am not alone and the majority always rules.

> Your "Defending American Values" email campaign vs Bio ware's star wars games is a joke. I would like to point out that if a parent dose not want there child to see an activity it is there JOB to police the child. It is not Bio Ware's job to police there child. It is not Bio Ware's job to censor there project because you or your friends are too lazy to remove the game from the child. If the child it sitting down and watching TV, and its a cheap B rated porno on at 1AM in the morning is it the networks fault? NO the programming was always there, it is the parents fault for not stopping or locking that channel in the first place. If the child is caught smoking is it the tobacco industry fault? No its the parents for not stopping or educating there child.

> No they aren't. You can't simply class all video games of one franchise together. They're extremely different. The Star Wars MMO is rated T. That means your children shouldn't be playing it.

> I am thoroughly disgusted with you assholes. Attacking Bioware and EA for content in SW:ToR because it goes against your particular points of view, is truly a demonstration of your ignorance, hatred, and intolerance. So what if the game has the OPTION of a possible gay or lesbian relationship. If you don't like it, don't buy the game. Also, to claim that the game itself is harmful to your children is just another example of your knee-jerk reaction to something that you obviously don't have all the facts about, or did not thoroughly evaluate (which is pretty much par for the course with you religious zealots). The game is rated T for Teen by the ESRB. Which means the no child under the age of 13 should be playing this game. And if they are, then the parents are to blame for the kids exposure to content that they are more than likely not mature enough to understand or process. Quit trying to impose your misguided, outdated, and draconian religious view points and wishes for censorship on the rest of us. In the bible it says "And Jesus wept", but the only thing wrong with that statement is the tense. But than again, I don't subscribe to a book written over 2,000 years ago by a bunch of superstitious desert dwellers trying to ease their own fears of death.
