Aircraft banners planned at Hershey Park and the Jersey Shore to expose Hershey as top Al Jazeera America advertiser. 

Florida Family Association has contracted with Aerial Messages to pull a banner which states HERSHEY SPONSORS JIHAD TV around Hershey Park and the Jersey Shore because The Hershey Company is the top advertiser on Al Jazeera America aka Current TV.  Advertisements for the following Hershey products have aired numerous times since January 2013: Almond Joy, Brookside Dark Chocolate, Ice Breakers, Hershey Chocolate Bars, Hershey Bliss, Hershey Drops, Hershey Chocolate Syrup, Jolly Rancher Bites, Pay Day Peanut Caramel Bar, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Rolo Minis, Twizzlers and York Peppermint Patties.

The Hershey Company certainly has the right to choose where they use their advertising dollars.  You have the same right to object and choose products from another company.

Hershey Park is the chocolate company’s theme park with 65 rides and attractions.  According to the Hershey Park web site The Boardwalk opens on May 25th.  The target date and time for flying the first banner around Hershey Park will be June 15, 2013 from 9:00 am to 3:00 PM.  Previous dates have changed so as not to conflict with the banners that FFA will fly around Disney World on May 31 and June 1 and to take advantage of more families traveling after the school year ends.

Florida Family Association has also contracted with Aerial Messages to fly the banner along Jersey Shore on July 6, 2013.   The Jersey Shore offers the largest outdoor gathering of people in the United States for aerial messages even with the spotty devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy. 

The cost to fly the banner for six hours will be $2,730 plus $300 for the time to fly from the nearest airport.  

It is CRUCIAL that Americans voice strong opposition to corporations that support this Hamas loving, anti-Semitic and Jihadist channel with their advertising dollars.

Al Jazeera, the Arabic news cable channel headquartered in the Middle East (Doha, Qatar), purchased the CurrentTV channel which has the potential of reaching millions of viewers in the United States.  Al Jazeera is a mouthpiece for radical Islamists.  Al Jazeera America is the new, tentative name for CurrentTV.

The Wall Street Journal reports:  More due diligence might have included a review of the close journalistic coverage over the years of the Al Jazeera Arabic and English broadcasts, which discloses the unsurprising fact that the network reflects the interests of the government that runs it—making it akin to the Vladimir Putin Russia Today and the Beijing Xinhua. The emir of Qatar, Hamid bin Khalifa Al Thani, appointed his cousin as chairman of Al Jazeera. The emir was last in the news for donating $400 million to Hamas.
