Dollar Shave Club is top advertiser on Al Jazeera America.    Email was deactivated after Dollar Shave Club stopped advertising on August 17, 2013.

Dollar Shave Club is a top advertiser on Al Jazeera America aka CurrentTV.   Dollar Shave Club is a smaller company than most of the previous advertisers reported by Florida Family Association.
 
Ironically, this business is frequently advertising on a channel where the most likely new viewers, American Muslims, are not known for shaving.
 
The Florida Family Association office sent emails to the Dollar Shave Club CEO Michael Dubin on June 4, 2013, July 8, 2013, July 22, 2013 and August 5, 2013 to inform him about his company’s advertising support for the channel.  Dubin ignored Florida Family Association’s emails.

Venrock apparently provided startup cash which may likely be funding the advertisements on Al Jazeera America.   Techcrunch.com reports in part:  Co-founder and CEO Michael Dubin said the new round (of funds), which was led by Venrock, will allow the company to develop “the next iteration of Dollar Shave Club” and “to really grow into the lifestyle service” that he wants it to be. 

Al Jazeera is a news company that is owned by a non-democratic, monarch styled emirate who does not afford citizens freedom of the press, espouses Islamic Sharia law, backs the leader of Hamas and supports the Muslim Brotherhood.  Al Jazeera, headquartered in the Middle East (Doha, Qatar), purchased the CurrentTV channel which is expected to officially launch new programming as Al Jazeera America on August 20, 2013.

Dollar Shave Club certainly has the right to choose where they use their advertising dollars.  You have the same right to object and choose products from another company.  Florida Family Association has prepared an email for you to send to the CEO and investor officials.
