Good News. Al Jazeera America is not able to sell their advertising time to companies that actually want their channel. There are only a dozen very small companies who continue to advertise on Al Jazeera America. Most of these small companies buy unwanted advertising time in bulk from multiple channels. These ad purchases are commonly referred to as remnant advertising which is unsold advertising from multiple channels. This means the vast majority of Al Jazeera America’s advertising is being purchased for dimes on the dollar. AIG is the only large company with advertisements appearing on the program. However, AIG’s advertising frequency is very low and their spots last less than five seconds making their credibility as a real buy questionable. Regrettably, AIG has been unresponsive to Florida Family Association emails.
Copper Fit was by far the most frequent advertisement on Al Jazeera America during the past two weeks. Copper Fit is registered to IdeaVillage. Other IdeaVillage products include: Stuffz stuffed burger, Snackeez, Fun Loom, Flipeez, Flashlight Friends, Micro Touch Max, Finish Touch, Amazing Arms, Handy Stich, Instant 20/20 and HD Vision.
Al Jazeera is a news company that is owned by a non-democratic, monarch styled emirate who does not afford citizens freedom of the press, espouses Islamic Sharia law, backs the head of Hamas and supports the Muslim Brotherhood.
Florida Family Association tapes ten hours of programing on Al Jazeera America every day. The Florida Family Association office communicates with each advertiser no less than once per week. Top advertisers are strategically featured one at a time in email alerts because there are so few of them. One hundred fifty seven (157) companies have stopped advertising on Al Jazeera America.
IdeaVillage continued to advertise on Al Jazeera America after their corporate officials received several communications from the Florida Family Association office. These communications required the use of email addresses other than floridafamily.org because IdeaVillage is blocking emails from our server.
IdeaVillage Products Corp. certainly has the right to choose where they use their advertising dollars. You have the same right to object and choose to patronize other companies that won't give your consumer dollars to Al Jazeera.
Florida Family Association has prepared an email for you to send to IdeaVillage Products Corp. officials to encourage them to stop advertising on Al Jazeera America.
