Paralyzed Veterans of America continued to allow their organization to be promoted on Al Jazeera of America after receiving thousands of emails of concern and numerous donor cancellations in response to Florida Family Association’s email alert.
Here are a few examples of emails that Florida Family Association received:
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have been supporters of Paralyzed Vets of America for years. We did not know they were on Al Jazeera. I'm sure it was a 'free' spot for propaganda purposes, but PAV has no business advertising on a network that has had terrorist ties. We will withhold our financial support of PAV until we hear that this association has completely ENDED!
God bless you and keep up the good work.
James E.
FFA,
I called them and I've added a note of my intentions to stop the donations until I hear from FFA.

Dear FFA,
As a US Navy Veteran, I am appalled and disappointed that the PV of A is advertising on al Jazeera america. I am a donator to the PVA, but that will stop until PVA stops advertising on that terrorist network.
Thank you FFA for your relentless effort to get al Jazeera america out of America.
John J.
To Whom It May Concern:
I called PVA yesterday and the lady who answered the phone stated "she was unaware of PVA advertising on Al Jazeera." I was shuffled around to another person and I again stated my complaint and then it sounded as if I was disconnected (I couldn't talk to anyone) and then found the phone ringing another number.
A taped message came on from a David Fanning (?) who asked me to leave a brief message (which I did) recommending that PVA not advertise anymore because I felt it was unpatriotic, etc.
I left my message and asked the person on the other end to contact me so we could discuss the matter further.
So far, no one has called me back.
FFA,
I quit contributing to Paralyzed Vets of America over a year ago. I'll send this email out to my list, too!

It is very difficult to understand why a non-profit organization with the mission of helping injured America veterans would allow their name brand to continue to be identified with Al Jazeera America after hearing many voices of concern and donation cancellations. Wounded Warrior Project, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) and the United States Marine Corp instructed the network to stop airing their advertisements shortly after Al Jazeera purchased Current TV but before the network changed the name. Florida Family Association communicated with all three organizations.
Florida Family Association sent several emails (February 2, 20 and 24) to the officers of Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) that informed them that their advertisements were appearing on Al Jazeera America. Paralyzed Veterans of America continued to allow their name brand to be identified with Al Jazeera America even after being informed that Wounded Warrior Project, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) and the United States Marine Corp had instructed the network to stop their promotions a long time ago.
It does not matter if PVA is paying for the time or Al Jazeera is giving it to them. An organization that is devoted to helping America combat veterans should not be associating with pro-Hamas, pro-Muslim Brotherhood Al Jazeera. It is offensive to many America troops who put their lives on the line to fight for liberty.
Al Jazeera, who showed disdain for Paris murder victims, is a news company that is owned by the non-democratic, monarch styled emirate of Qatar who allows wealthy citizens to financially support ISIS, supports the Muslim Brotherhood, backs the head of Hamas, espouses Islamic Sharia law and does not afford citizens freedom of the press.
The Washington Times reported on December 10, 2014 Qatar allows money to flow to Islamic State, other terrorists. “Qatar-based terror finance challenges have metastasized into a pressing, world-class crisis,” states the report by the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, warning the flow of money from private individuals in the Persian Gulf nation is likely only to continue without a “serious change in U.S. policy.”
Fox News reported on January 10, 2015 Leaked Al Jazeera emails reveal disdain for Paris murder victims. “Defending freedom of expression in the face of oppression is one thing; insisting on the right to be obnoxious and offensive just because you can is infantile,” wrote Khadr, quoting Time magazine, as he urged Al Jazeera staffers to consider that “I am Charlie” is an “alienating slogan – with us or against us type of statement – one can be anti-CH’s racism and ALSO against murdering people.”
Florida Family Association has prepared an email for you to send to urge Paralyzed Veterans of America officials to stop advertising on Al Jazeera America.
