Lifelock, Revlon, DenTek and many other companies drop ads from porn show that targets video game channel watched by children.

Florida Family Association places a priority on monitoring shows which target our children with explicitly immoral content. Rated A for Adult is one of those shows. In most cases including this one, Florida Family Association is the only pro-family organization that contacts advertisers.

G4TV show called "Rated A for Adult" is targeting our youth with smut conventions, hardcore videos and adult toys.

Children who tune in for the Video Gaming Shows are exposed to this show which features the porn industry.

Thankfully Florida Family Association's efforts are influencing many companies to pull off of this show.

The Florida Family Association office is sending emails to the CEOs and Marketing VPs of companies that advertised during the G4TV show called Rated A for Adult.

G4TV means Games For Television.  It is a channel that thousands of teenagers and children tune in to watch television programs about video gaming.

Rated A for Adult is a show about the smut industry.  It features smut conventions, adult videos, adult toys and adult actors.

Sadly, this show about the smut industry is on a channel that targets our youth.

Dear Mr. Caton,

Thank you for contacting Mr. Ennis.  Revlon agrees that “Rated A for Adult” is not an appropriate program during which our commercials should air.  After thoroughly looking into the matter, we determined that the airing was due to an unforeseen clerical error.  We appreciate you bringing this incident to our attention and wish you all the best for a wonderful holiday weekend.

Best,
Kimberly

Mr. Caton-

We did not authorize or run any advertising during the time period you mentioned, nor did we ever intentionally run on the program you mentioned below. This can only be explained as a trafficking mistake at the local cable operator. We have no plans to advertise on this program in the future.

Subject: LifeLock advertising

Dear Mr. Caton,

Thank you for your e-mails to Todd Davis regarding LifeLock’s commercials.

We were certainly surprised and dismayed to hear our commercial had appeared during objectionable programming.  While we support free speech, we would not choose this type of programming for advertising our services.  Neither we nor our media agency chose this program and it appears that the network or affiliate may have aired our commercial in the show you described to “make-good” for advertising which had not otherwise run.

We have provided instructions to make our partners aware that we do not wish to have our advertising appear in programs such as the one you mentioned in your note.

Best regards,
Andrew Wyant
