USAA holds itself out as serving current and former members of the United States Armed Forces.  Florida Family Association sent out several email alerts regarding USAA’s support for HuffPost because it defends Sharia law, fundraises for CAIR, defends the Muslim Brotherhood, publishes Islamist propaganda, calls American military racists and disparages Christians, Jews and white people.   

USAA legal counsel responded with a letter which demanded that Florida Family Association stop sending emails to its officers and directors that expressed concern regarding USAA’s advertising support for HuffPost.  No other company, out of the more than 3,500 companies that Florida Family Association has communicated with in the past 16 years, has threatened to quash its and its supporters’ First Amendment rights.

Examples of HuffPost's vitriolic, leftist hate and TWENTY THREE examples of Islamist propaganda articles have been provided to Select Comfort officials. 

Thousands of people have contacted USAA urging it to stop spending its members’ money on advertising that supports HuffPost.  USAA continued advertising.

USAA certainly has the right to advertise in whatever forum it chooses. You have the same right to voice concern regarding the content on such forums and choose insurance companies that will not spend your consumer dollars supporting offensive propaganda..

Florida Family Association has prepared an email for you to send to USAA officers and directors.  Please feel free to change the wording.
