Florida Family Association sent out an email alert Saturday noontime titled:  Fort Lauderdale Marriott Coral Springs Hotel & Convention Center to host the pro-Hamas group South Florida Muslim Federation (SFMF).

Coral Springs Talk reports:  UPDATE: The event has been canceled, according to Mark Cherry, general manager of the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Coral Springs Hotel & Convention Center. Cherry confirmed the cancelation in an email Saturday afternoon. 

The Middle East Forum (MEF) led the charge to influence this Marriott to cancel the SFMF convention.  Florida Family Association launched an email campaign to support MEF’s efforts.  FFA was planning to send out a second alert on Monday, January 8, 2024 night but received the good news about the cancellation.
