The Office of the Governor State of Florida issued the following announcement on X.com
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
Florida is designating the Muslim Brotherhood and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as foreign terrorist organizations.
Florida agencies are hereby directed to undertake all lawful measures to prevent unlawful activities by these organizations, including denying privileges or resources to anyone providing material support.

CAIR has already announced a lawsuit against Florida and leftist local media are giving CAIR better than fair publicity about its legal action.
Governor DeSantis welcomed the lawsuit saying publicly today that it will give the State of Florida discovery opportunities to see CAIR's fundraising and affiliations.
CAIR has employed, stood with, given awards to and apologized for terrorists. Here are just a few examples:

Abdurahman Alamoudi: A former CAIR Northern Virginia Director, he pleaded guilty to terrorism charges related to supporting Hamas and Hezbollah.

Randall Todd Royer: A former CAIR communications specialist, he was sentenced to 20 years for training with Lashkar-e-Taiba, an al-Qaeda-linked group.

Bassem Khafagi: A former CAIR community relations director, he pleaded guilty to fraud for funneling money to terrorist causes.

Rabih Haddad: A CAIR fundraiser linked to the Global Relief Foundation, which was shut down for financing al-Qaeda.
