Democrat US Senators want to defund ICE and or restrict how it enforces immigration law. If they do not get their way they plan to vote against the other budget items if the bill includes DHS funding.
Senate “Democrats Vow Not to Fund ICE…” according to news reports today.
Senate Democrats are running scared from their lunatic left constituents who are calling for primaries of the House Democrats who voted with Republicans to pass the DHS and ICE funding bill in the US House of Representatives. See News Week report titled: Democrats Who Voted for ICE Funding Face Fury, Primary Calls—’No Excuse’
Donald Trump told voters before the November 2024 election that he would close the border and execute the largest deportation of illegal aliens from the United States in history.
The Biden open border and mass illegal invasion was the top issue of concern during the 2024 Presidential Election.
Democrats are:
• Disrespecting the overwhelming voter support for President Trump’s election promise to deport millions of illegal aliens.
• Disregarding the outrageous criminal records of the hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens that ICE has already deported and focused on removing in the future.
• Ignoring the historic record breaking low national murder rate that resulted from removing hundreds of thousands of criminal illegal aliens.
• Yielding to the lunatic left to the detriment of the safety of all Americans.
GOP US Senators must hold the line on this budget issue. Americans cannot afford millions of illegal aliens to continue to threaten public safety, drive up prices on housing and consumer goods, waste American taxpayer dollars on illegal immigrant care and vote Democratic as their payback.
IF Democrat US Senators continue to demand the defunding of ICE and there are no other legislative options then the GOP US Senators must abolish the filibuster rule. The filibuster rule requires 60 votes to approve legislation in the US Senate. If the filibuster rule were abolished then only 51 votes would be needed to approve legislation. The 53 GOP US Senators could pass this bill, the SAVE Act and many other conservative bills.
