The Texas Republican Primary was held on March 3, 2026.  Registered Republican voters in Texas had the opportunity to vote for candidates and 10 Propositions. 

Proposition No. 10 asked voters to confirm the following statement with a Yes or No vote: “Texas should prohibit Sharia Law.” 

1,903,489 out of 2,007,779 (94.8%) Republican voters voted “Yes” that “Texas should prohibit Sharia law” with 253 of 254 Counties and 4459 of 4636 (96%) Polling Locations reporting as of March 4, 2026 11:38 ET.

Texas is a mega trend state with the known slogan “so goes Texas so goes the United States.”   It was crucial that Texas Republicans overwhelmingly voted to approve Proposition 10 to stop Sharia law from taking a stronghold in Texas and the United States like it has in Europe.

Hopefully, the 94.8% vote will inspire Texas law makers, the governor and attorney general to act swiftly as well as inspire officials in other states. 

Florida Family Association promoted a Yes vote on Proposition 10 through email alerts, Floridafamily.org home page article and newsletter.

Debbie Georgatos - Republican National Committee wrote  “It’s  an opportunity for Texas to give the primal scream of we want you to do something of the obvious Islamic invasion of Texas.  We focused on Sharia law because it’s a tactic of conquest.  They (Imams) are telling us we are coming as an Islamic ideology to take down Texas.” @DebbieCanWeTalk

There is an article at Florida Family Association’s website home page titled “Sharia law makes Islam much more than a religion. Its broad doctrine and application to non-Muslims make Islam a political entity,   a   government   with   goals   of    global dominion..”  This article reports:

•    What should our government’s response be to Sharia?

The Religion of Peace (thereligionofpeace.com) website reports on the number of Islamic attacks on non-Muslims worldwide.
