Florida Family Association influenced 3,005 out of 3,048 companies (99%) to stop advertising (report as of October 31, 2025) on Huffpost.com after being encouraged to pull off the website because it supports the Islamist political agenda and spews vitriolic propaganda that inspires leftist hate. HuffPost reports are updated every six months because of the volume and time to test advertiser behavior. The next report will be issued as of April 30, 2026.
Florida Family Association has been calling on Corporate America to stop spending consumer dollars at HuffPost since April 2016. HuffPost publishes more leftist vitriol that is read by more readers than almost any other leftist news site. As leftist as the Washington Post is its articles pale in comparison to the hate and vitriol that takes up a large portion of the Huffpost.com news site.
Huffpost has published many falsely based articles that inspire ignorance and inflame hate toward targeted Americans and American cultures. Huffpost articles spew vitriol in its obvious objective to tarnish the public image of military service members, law enforcement officers, conservative Christians and Jews, conservative leaders and white people.
Huffpost.com has defended Sharia law, defended the Muslim Brotherhood, fundraised for the Council on American Islamic Relations, blamed Christians for worldwide conflict with Muslims, promoted an anti-Semitic blog, encouraged Islamist demagoguery, and promoted other Islamist propaganda.
Huffpost.com pushes propaganda about DEI, Marxism, transgender identity and racist critical race theory that can have dangerous consequences. Examples of HuffPost's content issues are posted at this Florida Family Association article.
The latest semi-annual report shows more improvement in dropped advertisers since the prior reports dated May 31, 2025 and October 31, 2025:
• 75 more companies stopped advertising in past 5 months (3,005 this report vs. 2,930 on 5/25 report).
• 248 more companies stopped advertising in past year (3,005 this report vs. 2,757 on 10/24 report).
• 8 more companies continued to advertise (43 this report vs. 35 on 5/25).
The increase in more companies is likely due to Florida Family Association launching fewer email alerts that urged subscribers to send emails to HuffPost's advertisers. Florida Family Association has focused more calls to action on countering the Islamist political agenda during the past year.
HuffPost’s decline in advertising revenues would have been much greater had it not been for vendor ads at Amazon, Target, Walmart and Etsy websites. Florida Family Association estimates that vendor ads through Amazon.com account for close to 50% of the ads posted at HuffPost. However, even with multitudes of vendor ads through Amazon, Target, Walmart and Etsy HuffPost’s parent company BuzzFeed advertising revenues financial condition continued to decline.
Florida Family Association will continue to contact companies that advertise at Huffpost.com to educate them on its content and encourage the companies to stop advertising.
