Craftmatic stops advertising on Al-Jazeera America.

Florida Family Association tapes ten hours of programing on Al Jazeera America aka CurrentTV every day. The Florida Family Association office communicates with each advertiser no less than once per week. Top advertisers are strategically featured one at a time because there are so few of them.

We were unaware that this station has been sold. We do not purchase our own advertising and rely on an agency that buys commercial time in bulk. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have instructed our agency to pull any advertising from this station.

We told them to pull them ASAP and they have already acknowledged that they have sent notice. I do not believe we had very many running so I would hope there will be no further ones.

Craftmatic advertisements stopped airing on Al Jazeera America on May 30, 2013. Craftmatic has requested not to receive more emails regarding their decision.
Al Jazeera, the Arabic news cable channel headquartered in the Middle East (Doha, Qatar), purchased the CurrentTV channel which has the potential of reaching millions of viewers in the United States. Al Jazeera is a mouthpiece for radical Islamists. Al Jazeera America is the new, tentative name for CurrentTV.
