Disaronno officially stops advertising on Al-Jazeera America.

Florida Family Association tapes ten hours of programing on Al Jazeera America aka CurrentTV every day. The Florida Family Association office communicates with each advertiser no less than once per week. Top advertisers are strategically featured one at a time because there are so few of them.
Florida Family Association reported that Disaronno advertisements stopped airing from February through April 2013 without confirmation or comment from the company. Florida Family Association contacted their distributor after Disaronno advertisements started airing again in May 2013.
Illva Saronno, S.p.a. responded with a PDF letter which states in part:
Regarding Current TV, we do not have any future media buys planned for this network.

Disaronno advertisements stopped airing on May 24, 2013. The above letter was forwarded to Florida Family Association by Bacardi US, the Disaronno U.S. distributor. Bacardi and Disaronno prefer not to be contacted regarding their decision.

Al Jazeera, the Arabic news cable channel headquartered in the Middle East (Doha, Qatar), purchased the CurrentTV channel which has the potential of reaching millions of viewers in the United States. Al Jazeera is a mouthpiece for radical Islamists. Al Jazeera America is the new, tentative name for CurrentTV.
