Macy's claims that diversity is the reason for new hijab friendly fashion line. Where are Macy's fashion lines for other faiths?

The hijab exemplifies Islamist oppression towards women that is dictated by Sharia law and fatwas.

Macy’s is responding to complaints regarding its February 15, 2018 release of the hijab friendly fashion line.  The company’s response states in part:

Macy's is committed to representing the diversity of our shared community, including in our products and advertising.  As one of the nation's premier retailers, we serve a broad customer base and we always try to be responsive to our customer's needs and expectations.  While we regret that some customers may have concerns with some of our collections, our goal is to reflect the broad spectrum of our population, providing fashion, value and superior customer service to all.

If Macy’s is truly “committed” to “diversity” and its "goal is to reflect the broad spectrum of our population" where is Macy’s clothing lines for the Jewish, Christian, Hindu and Buddhist communities?

Macy's announced that it will start selling a hijab friendly fashion line, the first major retailer to do so, on February 15, 2018.

Of course leftist, Islamist loving Huffingtonpost.com published a glowing report about Macy’s plans titled One Of The Largest Retailers In The U.S. Is Launching A Hijab-Friendly Fashion Line.

Glamour published this report titled Macy's Will Start Carrying Verona Collection, Its First Modest Fashion Line.

Why do some companies race for Islamist customers when facing severe economic hardship?  First, it was Mattel who launched a hijab clad Barbie after the company’s financial woes caused its stock to plunge over 50% during the last two years.  Now Macy’s will become the first major retailer of hijab friendly fashion after the company’s financial woes caused its stock to drop 60% during the past two years.  Additionally, Macy’s announced in January 2018 that it would lay off another 5,000 people and close another 7 stores after annual sales dropped 2.4%.

Companies like Mattel and Macy’s who are hurting financially cannot afford to offend the majority of consumers but the fact that they do shows emotion not prudence is governing their business decisions.  It is a highly illogical business strategy for a company in a downward spiral to target a controversial  group  with  a  product  that  a  huge  number  of consumers recognize as exemplifying that group’s oppressive doctrines.  Therefore, such strategies appear to  be  more  about  promoting social propaganda than pursuing pragmatic profit centers.

Millions of Americans believe the hijab exemplifies Islamist oppression towards women that is commanded by Sharia law and fatwas.  The truth is the hijab is not derived from the Quran but is dictated by Islamist laws and fatwas that oppress and dominate woman.   Strict Islamic law and fatwa enforcement requiring women to wear the hijab started only within the last 50 years.  The hijab does not symbolize the freedoms and liberties bestowed upon all women who are under the protection of the United States Constitution.  To read more at Floridafamily.org regarding the oppressive nature of the hijab click here
