319 out of 390 companies have stopped advertising on The ReidOut.
Fox News published an article titled: Joy Reid: National divorce would leave those in red states 'trapped in an apartheid hellscape.' The subtitle reads: Reid previously compared Marjorie Taylor Greene to Confederate leader Jefferson Davis. The article states in part:
MSNBC host Joy Reid claimed Wednesday that a national divorce of Republicans and Democrats would trap millions of southern African Americans in an "apartheid hellscape" from a "pre-13th Amendment" time.
The "ReidOut" host attacked Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s tweet calling for a "national divorce" separating red states and blue states in a lengthy monologue, comparing the idea to the Southern states seceding prior to the Civil War.
"First of all, the last time southerners like Marj proposed a national divorce it was because they were holding 4 million African Americans hostage as slaves and they didn’t want to let them go.”
Reid’s outrageous claims can only fuel the fire of hate towards white people and Republicans. Her attack on Marjorie Taylor Greene is grossly irresponsible.
The ReidOut, hosted by Joy Reid, on MSNBC is one of the most anti-white racist programs on television. The ReidOut’s host, sit in hosts and some contributors practice anti-white hate speech that is offensive, racist and likely inspires hate among some viewers of this show. Joy Reid supports defund the police movement, defends Black Lives Matter riots, promotes reparations, advocates Critical Race Theory and disparages white people especially Christian white people. Reid is so prolific with anti-white hate speech that Tucker Carlson on Fox News calls her “the race lady.” That is why the Florida Family Association office has been sending emails to the CEO and CMO of companies that advertise on The ReidOut since November 2021. These emails provide numerous examples of Joy Reid’s anti-white hate speech.
Sleep Number Bed has advertised on The ReidOut from the first day Florida Family Association started recording the show in November 2022. Florida Family Association launched an online email campaign several months ago. However, it appears that Sleep Number Bed may have blocked emails from this first campaign without normal return email notification.
Sleep Number Bed would most certainly not support with its advertising dollars a white talk show host or white contributors engaging in such false, offensive and dangerous rhetoric about black people. Sleep Number Bed certainly has the right to advertise on whatever media it chooses. You have the same right to voice concern regarding the content on such media and spend your money elsewhere.
Florida Family Association has prepared an email for you to send to encourage Sleep Number Bed officials to stop supporting Joy Reid's anti-white racism with its customers’ money.
