The United States House of Representatives passed last night the budget resolution labeled “One Big Beautiful Bill” that advances President Trump’s agenda and campaign commitments.
The vote was 217 to 215 along party lines. Congressman Thomas Massie (KY) was the only Republican to vote against the budget resolution.
News reports indicated that members of the House Freedom Caucus were at odds with parts of the proposed budget resolution.
Florida Family Association launched an online campaign to shore up and strengthen the resolve to support the budget resolution. The online campaign was titled: Please urge the House Freedom Caucus to prioritize the tax relief needs of millions of Americans and the political downside of not doing so as they pursue the goal of reducing expenditures and debt.
Each of the 31 members of the House Freedom Caucus received thousands of emails that urged them to prioritize the tax relief needs of millions of Americans and the political downside of not doing so as they pursue the goal of reducing expenditures and debt.
There were certainly some very strong powers at play including President Trump and Speaker Johnson that made this happen.
Florida Family Association’s email campaign undergirded, supported and reinforced President Trump’s and Speaker Johnson’s goal of approval of the budget resolution with these 31 Republican House members.
Thank you for supporting this email campaign.
Your emails made a difference.
