iHeartMedia and Clear Channel Outdoor are blocking emails sent through Floridafamily.org server regarding Islamic Circle of North America propaganda billboard.

On June 23, 2015 Florida Family Association sent out the email below titled Clear Channel Outdoor, a subsidiary of iHeartMedia, Inc. who broadcasts Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck and Mark Levin on radio across America, is posting Islamist propaganda on their billboards.

iHeartMedia and Clear Channel Outdoor initially delayed emails sent through the Floridafamily.org server.  However, both companies started blocking the emails that subscribers were sending to them regarding this issue.  The Email Block Communications between Florida Family Association and Webmaster are posted at the bottom of this alert.

Emails sent regarding this issue prior to June 30, 2015 were most likely blocked by Clear Channel Outdoor and iHeartmedia.  Florida Family Association has prepared an email for you to send through your email browser.  Some browsers may not accept this email or may send it improperly.  If that happens please prepare an email using the information below.

Clear Channel Outdoor, a subsidiary of iHeartMedia, Inc. who broadcasts Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck and Mark Levin on radio across America, is posting Islamist propaganda on their billboards.

Clear Channel Outdoor, a subsidiary of iHeartMedia, Inc. who broadcasts Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck and Mark Levin on radio across America, is posting Islamist propaganda on their billboards.   Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc., is a public subsidiary of iHeartMedia, Inc., and is one of the world's largest outdoor advertising corporations.  

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) hired Clear Channel Outdoor to host two billboards that propagate their distorted view of Muhammad.  

Three new billboards around Atlanta declare that "Muhammad — peace be upon him — believed in peace, social justice [and] women's rights."

They're part of a new campaign launched by religious advocacy organization The Islamic Circle of North America as a way, the group's president said, to "talk about the prophet the way we see it."

The billboards are on Camp Creek Parkway at Desert Drive; at Mountain Industrial Boulevard at Stone Mountain Freeway; and at Chamblee Tucker Road at I-285.

"ICNA was named in a May 1991 Muslim Brotherhood document -- titled "An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America" -- as one of the Brotherhood’s 29 likeminded "organizations of our friends" that shared the common goal of destroying America and turning it into a Muslim nation. These "friends" were identified by the Brotherhood as groups that could help teach Muslims "that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and 'sabotaging' its miserable house by their hands ... so that ... The ICNA billboard claims MUHAMMAD BELIEVED IN PEACE.  However, Muhammad said:

  • Clash with the unbelievers and smite their necks.  Qur’an 47.4  So when you meet those who disbelieve [in battle], strike [their] necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then secure their bonds, and either [confer] favor afterwards or ransom [them] until the war lays down its burdens. That [is the command]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordered armed struggle] to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He waste their deeds.
  • Slay unbelievers wherever you find them.  Qur’an 2:191 And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- îaram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.
  • Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an.  Qur’an 8:12 [Remember] when your Lord inspired to the angels, "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip."
  • When opportunity arises kill the infidels wherever you catch them.  Qur’an 9:5  And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush.

Study finds that Sharia minded Imams recommended studying violence-positive texts in 84.5% of United States mosques.  The study was conducted by Dr. Mordechai Kedar and David Yerushalmi, Esq. who are highly regarded experts on Sharia.  David Yerushalmi, Esq. who runs the American Freedom Law Center with Robert J. Muise, Esq. is called The Man Behind the Anti-Shariah Movement ... by the New York TimesDr. Mordechai Kedar of Bar-Ilan University is an academic expert on the Israeli Arab population.  

Survey abstract:  A random survey of 100 representative mosques in the U.S. was conducted to measure the correlation between Sharia adherence and dogma calling for violence against non-believers.  Of the 100 mosques surveyed, 51% had texts on site rated as severely advocating violence; 30% had texts rated as moderately advocating violence; and 19% had no violent texts at all.  Mosques that presented as Sharia adherent were more likely to feature violence-positive texts on site than were their non-Sharia-adherent counterparts.  In 84.5% of the mosques, the imam recommended studying violence-positive texts.  The leadership at Sharia-adherent mosques was more likely to recommend that a worshipper study violence-positive texts than leadership at non-Sharia-adherent mosques.  Fifty-eight percent of the mosques invited guest imams known to promote violent jihad.  The leadership of mosques that featured violence-positive literature was more likely to invite guest imams who were known to promote violent jihad than was the leadership of mosques that did not feature violence-positive literature on mosque premises.  Read more at Terrorismanalysts.com

The ICNA billboard claims MUHAMMAD BELIEVED IN SOCIAL JUSTICE.  However, Muhammad said: 

  • Fight harshly against the infidels.  Qur’an 9:73 O Prophet, fight against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh upon them. And their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the destination.
  • Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood.  Qur’an 9:123 O you who have believed, fight those adjacent to you of the disbelievers and let them find in you harshness. And know that Allah is with the righteous.
  • Muslims must not take the infidels as friendsQur’an 3:28  Let not believers take disbelievers as allies rather than believers. And whoever [of you] does that has nothing with Allah , except when taking precaution against them in prudence. And Allah warns you of Himself, and to Allah is the [final] destination.
  • Combat the infidels and unbelievers who disobey Sharia.   Qur’an 9:29  Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.

The ICNA billboard claims MUHAMMAD BELIEVED IN WOMENS RIGHTS.  However, Muhammad said:

  • Husbands are above their wives. Qur'an 2:228 ... Wives have the same rights as the husbands have on them in accordance with the generally known principles. Of course, men are a degree above them in status . . .
  • It takes two women to equal one man as a witness.  Qur’an 2:282 And bring to witness two witnesses from among your men. And if there are not two men [available], then a man and two women from those whom you accept as witnesses - so that if one of the women errs, then the other can remind her. 
  • Men are in charge of women.  Qur'an 4:34  "Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourge them."
  • Men get a double share of the inheritance over women.  Qur'an 4:11   Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females.
  • Women are required to cover their entire body and head. Qur'an 4:15 "As for those of your women who are guilty of lewdness, call to witness four of you against them. And if they testify (to the truth of the allegation) then confine them to the houses until death take them."   Qur'an 24:31  "And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment save to their own husbands. ... And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment."   
  • Men can marry up to 4 women but women only one man.  Qur'an 4:3  "Marry of the women, who seem good to you, two or three or four."

The United Nations reports “Every year, millions of women and girls worldwide suffer violence, be it domestic violence, rape, female genital mutilation/cutting, dowry-related killing, trafficking, sexual violence in conflict-related situations, or other manifestations of abuse.”   125 million women have suffered genital mutilation in the Middle East and Africa since 1989.   “Honor killings” are estimated to take the lives of 5,000 women worldwide each year.   In addition to the information found at the United Nations there is more information reported at Honor Based Violence Awareness and Middle East ForumGenital mutilation, honor beatings and honor killings are taking place in the United States.

CBS Outdoor posted billboards that proclaimed Jesus is a Muslim in March 2014.  Florida Family Association launched an email campaign that urged CBS Outdoor to consider how offensive this billboard is to Christians and how outlandish it is compared to history.    The billboards did not stay up long and have not been reported again since April 2014.

Clear Channel Outdoor turned down a billboard which presented the truth about Muhammad according to a report at CreepingSharia. 

Major media companies allowing Islamist political organizations to distort the facts in their advertising forums weakens the knowledge that all Americans need to have on this important issue.  Clear Channel Outdoor’s denial of opposing billboards implies that their company may be biased on this issue.   However, even if Clear Channel Outdoor accepted the opposing billboards the content of the ICNA billboards is still grossly distorted.
