ABC cuts "The View" budget after Florida Family Association influences 131 companies to stop advertising.

Yahoo News published an article titled: ‘The View’ Cohosts ‘Mad’ as ABC Talk Show Keeps ‘Downsizing’ and Cutting Costs."  The article reports in part:

The View has reportedly had to cut costs.

The long-running ABC talk show, which is currently in its 29th season, keeps "downsizing and downsizing and downsizing," a source told Page Six's industry vertical, Page Six Hollywood, in an article published Wednesday, July 22.

According to the source, all of the hosts on the panel — which currently includes Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin — have taken pay cuts since its current season kicked off in September of last year.

Florida Family Association has influenced 131 companies out of 189 companies to stop advertising on The View as of July 24, 2026 after being encouraged to stop spending customer money on the show's harmful hate inspiring disinformation, trans false narrative, race baiting and toxic content.   The companies that Stopped Advertising and the companies that Continued Advertising are listed at the bottom of this Florida Family Association report.  Some summary points in this report include:

•    Procter & Gamble, the largest advertiser on The View making up nearly 20% of the show’s advertisements, was one of the first companies to stop advertising.

•    TJ Max and Marshalls, which advertised every day, also stopped advertising in April 2026.  Many other similar long term consistent advertisers have stopped as well.

•    Florida Family Association influenced 38 companies as of May 31, 2025.  This means 93 more companies have stopped advertising on The View over the past 14 months.

•    70% of the companies that Florida Family Association contacted or included in online campaigns stopped advertising.

A SPECIAL THANKS to everyone who sends emails to the advertisers our campaigns target.  Your emails are making a difference.

The View’s hosts push their own version of hate via their contrived and false “racist” accusations.  The View’s deployment of absurd, divisive emotional appeal influences irrational attitudes toward otherwise sane policies and well intended Americans.  Their intent is to motivate their viewers to hate such rational policies and the people associated with these policies.

131 out of 189 companies (70%) stopped advertising on The View as of July 24, 2026 after being encouraged to stop spending customer money on the show's harmful hate inspiring disinformation, trans false narrative, race baiting and toxic content.   The companies that Stopped Advertising and the companies that Continued Advertising are listed at the bottom of this article.

Florida Family Association reported that 38 companies stopped advertising on The View as of May 31, 2025.

When we challenge Corporate America to stop sponsoring leftist hate media and they respond by dropping their advertising it:

•    Is a repudiation of the targeted media in the market place witnessed by the media talent, media network, advertising agencies and other advertisers.

•    Means the advertiser chose to take a position for sanity over deliberately supporting insanity.

•    Means the advertiser is more likely to take to heart what they did and apply it to other policies.

•    Could lead to the elimination of the program or network.  The Joy Reid Show, Al Jazeera America, All American Muslim and 37 other shows were dropped after Florida Family Association campaigns contacted advertisers.  These shows are listed at the bottom of the Floridafamily.org Accomplishments page.

Here a few examples of the many, many hate inspiring disinformation, trans false narrative, race baiting and toxic content of The View:

'The View' co-host Joy Behar claims Trump not a 'legitimate president' ahead of State of the Union Fox News reported on February 24, 2026.  This creates more safety risks for President Trump and conservatives at large from people who believe Behar and want to incite violence.

The View co-host Sunny Hostin called President Donald Trump a pirate, a corrupt leader and only wanted oil from Venezuela on the January 5, 2026 episode of The View.  See the New York Post article titled:  Sunny Hostin calls Maduro capture a ‘kidnapping,’ accuses US of ‘piracy’’   See The Independent article titled: The View’s Sunny Hostin compares Trump to a pirate amid Venezuela ship takeovers.

On the June 17, 2025 episode of The View, Whoopi Goldberg maligned all white Americans by saying that Black Americans suffer just as much as Iranian citizens who live under Iran's totalitarian regime.  While the media points out how offensive this is to Iranians who fled their country and now live in America, Goldberg’s race baiting is much more offense to every White American that Goldberg disparaged as racist.  Additionally, Whoopi’s race baiting infects the minds of vulnerable people with illogical ideologies that inspire hate against white people.  See news reports at:  OutkickNew York Post  and  Fox News.

The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg constantly promotes hatred toward conservatives and instigates public confrontations.  Goldberg signed off the April 3, 2025 episode of The View by rallying leftist extremists to resist President Trump.   “Remember, the resistance is real. You're not alone," Goldberg told viewers.  Last month, she said it was time for Americans to rise up and protest the Trump administration.  "The only way people are going to hear how angry you are is if you get out there.”

The View co-host Joy Behar’s proclamations appear to endorse violence.  On a February episode Joy Behar disagreed with Democratic Strategist James Carville's advice that Democrats do "nothing" to protest Trump and DOGE head Elon Musk.  "I have lived long enough to see that people who do nothing empower the enemy," Behar said.  "I believe that Americans, first of all, you can multitask. You can march, and you can do whatever and let them do what they’re doing.”

The View promoted transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney and men competing against women in women's sports during two segments of the March 10, 2025 show.  Whoopi Goldberg mocked women’s sports advocates.  She told Dylan Mulvaney “that those opposed to men in women’s sports don’t know anything about women’s bodies” declaring her support for men competing against women.  Pushing the trans false narrative has proven to be harmful to many young males and females who tragically follow it.

Racism and race-baiting is prevalent on The View.  Ana Navarro engaged in race-baiting against the president when she said “I think today Donald Trump is going to sign an executive order banning Black people from halftime” at the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show.   Whoopi Goldberg accused US Senator Tim Scott of having “Clarence Thomas syndrome” as a Black Republican.   Joy Behar said Senator Scott is a Republican because he “don’t get” the idea of racism.

And The View co-host Sunny Hostin alleged on the April 23, 2025 episode that President Trump’s idea of a $5,000 credit for first born babies was racist.  Her race baiting comments implied that the birth rate was down for white people and that Trump’s proposal was to increase white births.

The View’s hosts push their own version of hate via their contrived and false “racist” accusations.
